We have a home meet tonight, which is also NEON GLOW themed! I would like to see all swimmers and families dressed up in their neon. Here are a few reminder of what to expect and some tips for preparing for the meet. Please go over this with your swimmers.

Set up will begin at 4:30. We have our TEAM PICTURE AT 5:00! Please arrive no later than 4:45. Warm ups are at 5:20. There will be a Timers meeting and Strokes and Turns at 5:45pm.

Buddy Swim: We have a buddy swim that will be taking place after the national anthem at 6:25

Concessions: We will have concessions available with chips, drinks and ice cream. Our Snack Shack only accepts Venmo currently NO CASH

During the Meet: No one is allowed in the pool during swim meets this includes putting feet in the deep end or shallow end. There should be no foot traffic behind the blocks. Swimmers are not allowed to be behind the blocks during the meet. This includes walking through to get to the clerk of course.

Before the Meet: All swimmers should be drinking water all day. Swimmers should not be hanging around the pool today, please rest at home and save their energy. On the Creekwood swim team website there are meet nutrition ideas for before and during meet. This can be found under Meets and Events, then Swim Meet 101.

Sportsmanship: All swimmers should be cheering on their teammates when they are not swimming. Along with this swimmers should also be encouraging and kind to the swimmers, this includes wishing them luck before a race and telling them good race after.
